Text: John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Philippians 2:5-6
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

You are a chosen generation. By the virtue of who you are as a royal priesthood, the city of God,a peculiar person, you are meant to show forth the praises of God who translated you from the Kingdom of darkness to his own Kingdom.

You are the nation of God, the city where the character and attributes of God find expression.

You are not created to be a problem but to be a problem solver.
You are destined to be the solution to men’s problems.
When people don’t have hope for their future, when they see you, they have hope, direction comes to their lives.

There is no darkness in Eden. Light floods Eden. There must be no ingenuity in you.
If you carry Christ, you are an Eden to your generation.

Man is a tripartite being. He has a spirit, soul and body.
The breath of God made man a living being. The activities that goes on the entire body lies in your soul. The soul coordinates the entire body.

The spirit has 3 compartments. That is where fellowship, Faith, conscience, intuition lies.

The soul has 4 compartments:
1. Mind: This is your processing unit where information is analysed.
In your mind, there is:
* Memories
Your mind stores events and experiences you have been through in the form of memories.
Whatever life you are living now is your future. Your mind has the ability to think of your future in forms of dreams and visions.
If you don’t understand your makeup, it will restrict you in life. If you don’t have a relationship with the spirit, there will be no inflow of the revelation of God in your life.
There is power to become and grow. The power that makes you become is faith.

Romans 1: 17
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

It is the readiness of your heart that God creates faith into.

2. Intellect: Your intellect is a function of your exposure to people, books both good and bad
3. Emotion: This is a strong factor that determines your will. Most times the wrong thing you do comes from your emotions.
4. Will: This is where you take decisions and decide what you want. God decides to do what he wants to do and he created you this way.

Anatomy of New Creation
Ezekiel 36:25-27
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

God’s desire is to give you a new heart and spirit. Wickedness is in the old heart.
A heart of Stone never listens to correction. When you plant something in a heart of Stone, it never grows.
The reason why you walk in disobedience is because your spirit is already defiled.
The new Adam can carry Eden wherever he goes.
