Ganduje’s aide empowers over 40 youth with Donkeys

Senior Special Assistant on Youth Development to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Murtala Gwarmai on Thursday empowers Kano youth with donkeys and other items.

The youths who were over 40 got donkeys and motorcycles each.

The distribution event took place at the premises of the State’s Ministry of Youth and Sports on Thursday where the beneficiaries have earlier gathered.

The SSA to the Governor also distributed motorcycles, bicycles, cash prizes worth N100,000, building blocks and roofing sheets among others.

The Aide while addressing beneficiaries before distribution revealed that his decision to distribute donkeys followed request by some beneficiaries.

He said those who requested for donkeys said they would use them to transport sand, gravel and blocks, adding that the empowerment will go a long way in assisting his business.

He promised to distribute more items within the resources of his office.

Those who attended the event include the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, Senior Special Assistant on Youth II, Ibrahim Ahmad, and other top officials in the ministry.
