Northern actress’s improper dressing triggers twitter war, expelled from association

Rihana Sadau, a foremost actress in the Muslim dominated northern Nigeria has been expelled from Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN).

MOPPAN is a body of all filmakers in northern Nigeria.

Rihana’s sanction by the body followed her raunchy picture which she personally posted on social media.

The body claimed that her picture triggered Twitter war with blasphemous comments about the prophet of Islam.

This is the second time, the actress would be suspended from the apex body of northern filmmakers in four years, having been susended in October, 2016, but later readmitted by the Kano State Censors Board under Mallam Ismail Na Abba Afakkalla in 2018.
