Senator Dachungyang charges Security agencies to arrest perpetrators of Plateau attacks

Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial Zone, Sen. Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang has expressed sadness and condemned the Friday attacks and killings of over ten persons in some communities of Mangu and Bokkos Local Government of the State.

Sen. Dachungyang in a press statement issued in Jos on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Eric Dungs called on security agencies charged with the responsibility of maintaining peace in Plateau State to leave no stone unturned in arresting and prosecuting the perpetrators.

It would be recalled that suspected bandits on Friday night attacks Kopnanle and Mandar Shar communities of Mangu and Bokkos local government areas respectively and killed over ten innocent villagers.

The Lawmaker who sympathized with the affected communities noted that going forward, communities must adopt the strategy of eternal vigilance considering the fact that the enemies of the peace of the state seek its destruction.

The Senator while commending efforts of security agencies in the state encouraged them to redouble their efforts to nip such attacks in the bud.
