Bello’s handing over note sparks condemnation

The immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello’s handover note emerged on the X (formerly Twitter) and is currently sparking condemnation for lack of details.

The note which is written with red pen is a one paragraph statement making it look unserious and unimaginable of what is happening in Kogi State.

X users are trailing the note with condemnation and describing the whole thing as fraud.

An X user, Mahdi Shehu prayed that Bello would be called to account for his misdeeds one day and wished that all the fraud he committed in the State should come to the open.

On Saturday, Bello handed over the baton of leadership in Kogi State to Ododo Ahmed Usman as the new Executive Governor of Kogi State at a ceremony which took place at the Muhammadu Buhari Stadium, Lokoja.

An X user who is a non-commercial whistle blower wrote:

“YAHYA BELLO’S HANDING OVER NOTES: This represents fraud, insincerity, immaturity, evesiveness, concealment of facts & figures, running away from past misdeeds etc.Alas, everything hidden will come to lime light, hear or hearafter. yahaya should get ready for that inevitability”
