As reactions continue to trail FCT Minister’s dancing skill in the office of Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, last week, Senator Alex Kadiri has accused Nyesom Wike of turning the revered office into a dancing theatre.

Kadiri who represented Kogi East at the beginning of the 4th Republic (1999-2003), lamented the scornful development of the office, saying that such has never happened when late Abba Kyari and the immediate past CoS, Prof. Gambari occupied the office.

He said, Wike’s mindset and his conduct reflects no sympathy for the suffering Nigerians as well as any good omen for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, adding that Nigerians are taking notation of the happenings.

He wondered how things have become awry in a manner there were, saying: “Nyesom wike is going to the office of the chief of staff to dance. Chief of staff that office that Kiyari Occupied, Gambari just vacated, is that Wike should be dancing? With a pot of tea with music and dance?

“Are we okay as a country, no matter how good Nyesom Wike is, he is not doing any good to this government or to the APC.

“Why? They said election has been won as declared by the court, so why taunt the opposition?”

The former Lawmaker accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of having utter disdain for the country, even as members and supporters of APC and other political parties makes meaning to him.

As a member of APC, Kadiri said, he has a stake, hence, he will continue to raise the alarm when and where things have gone wrong. He accused political office holders of not doing enough to salve the nation, rather, they are busy travelling to Dubai and other tourist countries.

He said: “The way the country is being looked down on by the president. I think he is looking down on all of us, the APC, PDP, and LP, if we don’t even belong to any party. He is treating Nigeria with disdain. I dont like it because I belong to this party. I have not resigned. I have not defected, I have not been expelled or anything.

“I am a registered member of the Party, Odu Ward 1. This country is burning little by little, and he is not doing anything about it. Everybody is busy gallivanting from place to place doing nothing except to pack themselves to go to Dubai, carrying the presidential jet with his son dancing inside.”

On the recent governorship election in Kogi State, Kadiri believed that his party lost, but having as if the State was its conquered territory and taking laws into their hands by attacking the Secretary of the election petition tribunal and destroying the rival party’s petitions.

He said, President Tinubu, governor Bello and the rest ought to have learnt lessons and conduct themselves Inna decorous manner when it comes to elections in Nigeria.

The idea of ‘go to Court’ which is more pronounced in Tinubu’s administration was like handing over election to the judiciary to determine the winner, a development, he insisted, was incompatible with democratic norms the world over.

He said: “Look at the situation in my State, the governor said they won election fair enough but why can’t they allow the processes to take place smoothly? Who is it that attacked the Secretary of the Tribunal on the high way and tore all the documents to shreds and which happened to be the petition of the SDP?

“These are things that happened in movies that we watch in the good old days. Hasn’t Yahaya Bello learnt anything, hasn’t the contry learnt anything has not the President learnt anything? Hasn’t my party learnt anything. We are behaving as if we have conquered this country.

“They will tell you to go to court and will hire all sorts of crook lawyers to present their positions. The electorate are no longer the people electing the leaders, it is the courts, it is sad.

“We are building grounds for revolution. I am worried and that is why I am warning that this type of thing cannot continue for ever and ever. They sat down in a room and thumb printed for his local governments how is that possible anywhere in the world? Give this country a break. The opponent will go to the Tribunal to say this is what you did and the Federal government is looking until the whole thing breaks down.”

On political crisis in Rivers State, the former Lawmaker in the upper legislative Chamber challenged President Tinubu to come out clean and keep Nigerians abreast of the true situation of things.

He described Wike as ingrate having been a beneficiary of the society that he now wants to destroy.

“What is happening in Rivers, the president should tell us what he discussed with Wike and the Governor of Rivers State Siminalayi Fubara.

“Is it true that the internally generated Revenue of Rivers State has dwindled from N10b to N6b? Who is keeping the remaining N4b? I think that is the root cause of the feud. You have been a governor for 8years, chief of Staff to Rotimi Ameachi when he was governor, you were a minister of state for education.

“God has smiled on you, God has been very fair to you why are you pushing your luck too far? You are now minister of FCT which is like governor of Abuja and you still want to oversee Rivers. Nyesom Wike, why are you tempting God?

“What are you bringing to this government for Gods sake that you sabotaged your own party and deliver Rivers for Tinubu. Is that enough reason for the misbehaviour that we are seeing everywhere. Have you conquered Nigeria? Please let us be civil.

“Wike is not bringing anything good to this government, he is bringing utter rascality irrespective of what has happened the people deserve good governance.

“The President should sit up before the situation degenerates to a point where people will take to the streets. We can nip this thing in the bud now. Now that Wike is the minister, he should allow the young man in Rivers to perform.

“He should allow Rivers people to have peace. You can’t be Governor of Abuja and Governor of Rivers at the same time. Stop tempting God. This government is tempting God”, he concluded.
