Insecurity in Kogi East: Socio-Cultural group invites committee members for urgent meeting

Kogi East Socio-Cultural group, the Igala Cultural Development Association, ICDA has invited members of its Community Election Committee for a meeting.

In a statement issued by the Chairman, Publicity Sub-Committee of the association, Mr Barth. Ademu, which was made available to CAPITAL POST in Lokoja on Friday he said, the meeting will be held on Tuesday 26th September, 2023 at 3.00pm.

The statement said, the meeting is billed to discuss security challenges in Kogi East.

The statement read: “The Igala Cultural Developmen Association (ICDA) Caretaker Committee has invited members of the Community Election Security Management Committee of the Kogi East Neighborhood Watch (KENW) headed by Chief Col Paul Baba rtd to an emergency meeting to hold in Lokoja on Tuesday, 26th September, 2023 at 3pm prompt.

“This meeting is sequel to some ongoing security challenges in Kogi East.”
