BREAKING: Muri defeats Yahaya Bello as Court bans his arrest

The Social Democratic Party, SDP governorship candidate in the November 11 election, Muritala Yakubu Ajaka on Thursday got Court’s nod from arrest by security agents on the order Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello.

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja specifically restrained “Bello, Police, DSS, Army and Navy from inviting, arresting, detaining or threatening Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka.”

Also, the Court ordered for the immediate maximum protection of Muritala Yakubu Ajaka while in Abuja, Kogi and across the country, by deploying military, DSS and Police operatives around him.

The order of the Court was consequent upon applicant’s motion seeking for enforcement of his fundamental Human Rights which he filed before Justice Enyang Ekwo-led Federal High Court in Abuja
