Foundation donates academic materials to Rochas Foundation in Jos

The Ibidabo Lawal Foundation has donated educational materials to Rochas Foundation College in Jos, Plateau to State to further harness their studies and well-being, even as it provided food for effective and proper concentration while learning.

The principal of the college, Ifeoluwa Ayo, said the school was established in September 2005 and has graduated 1300 students with distinctions and very excellent and outstanding performance in WAEC, NECO, and JAMB.

While appreciating the Rochas Foundation for all its doing for knowledge, he passionately appealed for more computer systems to bridge the gap of the massive population of 817 students on limited computers which are inadequate to increase their ICT skills.

“I want to plead if, the Foundation could help us look into providing more computer systems that will help the students do well in using computers”

“It is also Part of the plans to see if we can have a Jamb center in the school so that some of the facilities can be used by the students and they can also master, and get used to computer systems”

He appealed to other spirited partners to extend their hands of love to the Foundation in supporting the needy.

The principal however appreciated Rochas Foundation for only providing the students with a conducive learning atmosphere but with complete free education to children, he doesn’t even know or has anywhere. He also thanked the Ibidabo Lawal foundation for their partnership of books, biros, and food for the students.

Some of the students, Habibu Salamatu, David Sholammite, and Thaddaeus John who were full of excitement said they have achieved a lot by finding love within all of themselves students as one big family and their teachers who turned parents have made learning easy and interesting for them.

Habibu Salamatu said ” I pray for God to bless the founder, our dear father Sen. Anayo Iwele Okorocha Rochas, you are great, a wonderful father to us, that every child in this world will wish to have as a father, God reward your kind heart and give you long life to achieve more than you have”

David Sholammite in her words ” I sincerely appreciate Rochas Foundation for the wonderful opportunity accorded me to benefit free education. I will replicate every knowledge acquired by giving back to society ”

Thaddaeus John, who is an orphan and versed in “Talking words” disclosed that ” I have gained countless levels of knowledge in this college, I was taken off the street to acquire free education by Daddy Rochas to give me hope, good dreams, I would have been involved with a bad gang, but he rescued me. I can proudly look at myself as a great person in the future in society. Much appreciation to our great Daddy and staff”

The Ibidapo Lawal Foundation has donated books, academic materials, and food items worth millions of naira to over 8000 students of Rochas Foundation Colleges.

Rochas Foundation has 13 schools owned and managed solely by the Foundation in different states of the six geopolitical zones of the country, which have all benefited from the donation. The schools are located in 10 cities, which include, Kano, Sokoto, Zaria, Bauchi, Calabar, Jos, Enugu, Owerri, Yola, and Ibadan.

The sole aim of the donation by the Ibidapo Lawal Foundation is to help and support indigent children to have access to quality education and demonstrate love and provide comfort to children of the less privileged in all parts of the country.

Rochas Foundation, therefore, called on well-spirited individuals and organizations to show love and kindness to all children, especially, those from less privileged backgrounds in the country.

It also called on well-meaning Nigerians to sponsor and support at least a child of the poor to be educated to reduce the rate of illiteracy and ti to build a better future for all children in the country irrespective of their background.

CAPITAL POST reports that the program which aimed at celebrating love got the students displaying their various talents through dance, debate, playlets, testimonials in different dialects, and amazing speaking words which awesomely caught the attention of all.
