APC vovernorship candidate celebrates appointment of Prof. Mantur as PLASU VC

The All Progressives Congress governorship Candidate Nentawe Yilwatda has celebrated with Professor Benard Mantur over his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the Plateau state University Bokkos.

In a statement by the spokesman for Generation Next Campaign Council Shittu Bamaiyi, said Nentawe described the appointment as well deserved and most appropriate.

He stated that Professor Mantur’s appointment can equally be described as putting a square peg in a square hole.

Nentawe noted that Professor Mantur having been a one time Deputy Vice Chancellor in one of Nigeria’s University, could be of great value to the Plateau State University.

Nentawe further noted that with his new appointment and coupled with the fact that he is the immediate past Commissioner for Education in the State, he is fully armed with the requisite knowledge and expectations of the University.

According to him, it is probably as a result of his academic credentials and experience in the education ministry that prompted his appointment and as such he cannot afford to fail in his new assignment.

Nentawe while wishing Professor Mantur a fruitful and eventful tenure appealed to the Bokkos university community to cooperate with the new Vice Chancellor in order for him to succeed.
