Breaking: Again, Court turns down Kanu’s bail

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday turned down Nnamdi Kanu’s bail.

Wednesday’s Court sitting was presided by Justice Binta Nyako who declined bail application by Nnamdi Kanu’s Counsel.

Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and he has been detained over terrorism related issues.

Justice Nyako in her ruling after listened to the bail application, submitted that the issue of Kanu’s absence in the past, since 2017, should be determined, before his bail application, will be entertained.

She also took into cognisance, Kanu’s breach of his past bail conditions which she said should first be determined before the present bail request brought before the honourable Court.
