Ortom consoles governor Fintiri over mother’s death

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has sent condolences on behalf of the government and people of Benue State to his Adamawa State counterpart, Alhaji Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over death of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Badami. 

Governor Ortom says the death of a loved one such as a mother can be quite painful and irreparable. 

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary,  Mr.  Terver Akase and made available to CAPITAL POST in Abuja,  Ortom encourages Governor Fintiri to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a life worthy of emulation and has gone to rest with the Lord.

Governor Ortom says Hajiya Fatima Badami will be remembered for her selfless service to humanity and the underprivileged in particular.

He prays that the deceased may have eternal rest and her family the strength to bear the loss.
