Yobe governor approves recruitment of 196 health workers

Governor Mai Mala Bunu of Yobe State who is also the National Chairman, APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has approved the immediate recruitment of 196 graduates of College of Health Science and Technology Nguru to boost healthcare delivery services in the State. adsbygoogle || []).push({});

A statement issued by the Director of Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Malam Mohammed Mamman and made available to newsmen in Damaturu Saturday said the recruitment was aimed at providing the needed professional skills across the health facilities of the State.

The statement added in quote, “Among those approved for recruitment are the Pharmacy Technicians, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Dental Surgery Technicians and Health information Management specialists.

“His Excellency urged the beneficiaries to be dedicated to their professional callings and serve the people with dignity.

“Government has expended so much in training you and has now employed you, you should justify the huge investment made by government to serve our people diligently and efficiently to add value to our drive for improved healthcare delivery in the State.

“This administration is committed to provide accessible and affordable healthcare delivery to the doorsteps of our people” he assured.

The governor further assured that the State government will continue to provide the needed health workers for effective and efficient healthcare delivery services while stressing that government has already established at least one functional healthcare facility in each of the 178 political wards across the state, more General hospitals and Specialists Hospitals to boost healthcare delivery of the State.
