Suspected herdsmen defies Kaduna curfew kills 11

Despite the 24 hours curfew imposed on Kaduna State to check the spread of the corona virus, some unknown gunmen were reported to have killed 11 people in some communities.

In a statement issued by Luka Binniyat, the PRO of Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU), this sad event took place in Jagindi and Kuduru in Jema’s and Chikun local government areas respectively.

It was reported that the district head of Jagindi, 

 Danlami Barde and his brother Musa Barde were among those who lost their lives in the attack. Unconfirmed reports claim that the attack was carried out by people suspected to be herdsmen
