More infoManchester City defender Kyle Walker has sent a daunting message to Premier League title rivals Arsenal ahead of their clash with Mikel Arteta’s side at the end of the month.
The Gunners are currently one point behind City in the Premier League table and only two behind league leaders Liverpool. The three-horse race for the title is expected to go to the wire with City facing both teams before the end of the season.
On Sunday, Pep Guardiola’s men travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool before welcoming Arsenal to the Emirates Stadium on March 31.
The Citizens failed to beat either Arsenal or Liverpool earlier in the season, losing to the Gunners in north London in October. Gabriel Martinelli’s late winner gave Arteta his first-ever Premier League win over Guardiola.
Walker, who is gunning for his sixth league title, has sent a warning to Arsenal and Arteta ahead of their visit to the Emirates later this month. Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE podcast, the 33-year-old was posed the question on his thoughts about the Gunners by Joel Beya.
