Ganduje pledges support for Nigeria Football Supporters Club

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has pledged to strengthen a football support association under the aegis of Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC).

The National Chairman gave the assurance while recieving supporters of the club at the party headquarters on Wednesday.

Speaking, Dr Ganduje stated that the club has always made the country proud and therefore deserve special consideration.

In his words, “I will assist the supporters club. I will ensure that you get special consideration because APC is a party of the people. The supporters club is for the people and for everybody. 

 “I have been in this club when I was nothing but now that I am in this important position, I’ll support you because you have made us proud, and APC is proud of you”. 

Earlier, the President General of the Nigerian Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo said that the club was identified by football governing bodies as the best owing to their outstanding performances.

According to him, ” The supporters club have been there for 66 years. And we have been supporting football all around the world. We have done it so far that we have been adjudged to be the best from the whole world by FIFA and CAF in 1994 and 1996. By CAF in 2006, 2008 and 2009″.

Part of activities for the meeting was the decoration of Dr Abdullahi Umar as the national patron of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC).
