Barcelona eyeing €85 million-rated Arsenal Winger to bolster attack

Reports coming regarding FC Barcelona for the last few weeks make it clear that the Catalans are looking for a midfielder to reinforce their squad for the next season. However, this is not the only position identified by the club for an overhaul.
The Blaugranes are also looking for a winger. In another development that may or may not be related to this planning of the club, Barcelona have also already received an offer for Raphinha.
According to Mundo Deportivo, there are several names being linked with Barcelona for this position, but one of the most compelling of these names is that of Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazilian winger has been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League for some time now and has proven his skills at the highest level in England with Arsenal.
However, Barcelona will have to make a very committed financial effort to be able to sign him, as he is currently valued at €85 million by Transfermarkt. His contract with the Gunners also goes till 2027, so Arsenal will be in a very strong position when negotiating for him.
But irrespective of the costs that will be needed to get him to Barcelona, there is no doubt that the Brazilian will be a very good addition to the current Blaugrana squad. This season, he has already scored seven goals and had reached the 15-goal mark in the last season.
He is also currently only 22 years old, and his age makes him a very tempting target for Barcelona, who are planning to base their next sporting project on an effective mixture of youth and experience.
Barcelona can get to see him in close action as both the Catalans and Arsenal are contending for the Champions League title, and if they both are able to get over their respective opponents next week, they can face each other in an ensuing round of the tournament.
