President Buhari: Cattle, Sheep easier controlled than Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari said, he will reduce the number of cattle and sheep in his ranch in Katsina as he may not have resources to buy feed as he leaves office.

Speaking at the Gala night to mark the end of his tenure, the outgoing President said his animals are easier controlled than Nigerians, whom he ruled for eight years.

Buhari said he will return to Daura, his hometown in Katsina State to rear cattle after handing over to a new administration today,May 29, 2023.
During his speech at a pre-inauguration Gala Night held on Sunday, Buhari re-echoed that he would go back to his cattle and sheep in Daura.

His words: “I am looking forward to tomorrow to fly to my base to go and meet my cattle and sheep, which are much easier to control than fellow Nigerians.

But I have to reduce their number, because I cannot save enough to buy them feeds.”
