Governor Ododo meets Adavi stakeholders, reiterates commitment to inclusiveness, local content in development

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Monday, was hosted to a stakeholders’ forum by leaders and residents of Adavi Local Government Area as part of his administration’s continuous engagement with local communities.

The interactive session, held at the Adavi Local Government Secretariat in Ogaminana, drew a large gathering of stakeholders including traditional rulers, political leaders, youth and women groups.

Governor Ododo, who had earlier inspected ongoing road projects in the local government area, emphasized his administration’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development, local content promotion, and inclusive governance.

He noted that all ongoing projects across the state will be delivered on time and according to specifications, adding that the deliberate engagement of local artisans and suppliers reflects his administration’s dedication to empowering communities and driving economic growth from within.

“We are not only building roads and bridges; we are building trust, inclusion, and ownership by ensuring our people benefit directly from the process,” the Governor said.

Governor Ododo commended the people of Adavi for their peaceful conduct and unity, urging them to sustain the atmosphere of stability to attract more development from the state government.

Earlier, the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government Area, Hon. Bashir Rasheed Okatengwu, expressed appreciation to the Governor Ododo for the attention given to the area in critical sectors such as road infrastructure, education, security, and political appointments.

He described the Governor’s leadership as purposeful and people-driven

The forum also featured the presentation of financial support by leaders of the local government area to assist community development efforts in the area.
