“Let me say it, we are not coming in to witch hunt; we will not waste the precious mandate of our people on witch hunt. If there is a tradition of witch hunts in Plateau, we will break it.

“The people of Plateau should be rest assured that if elected, we would reform government processes, and if we found out in the course of the reform that certain things had been done wrong, we would ensure they were blocked and people should be able to correct the mistakes they have made in the past,” he said.

The gubernatorial candidate pointed out that since the PDP left power over seven years ago, Plateau State has lost its leadership, adding that the party is offering itself this time around to confront the myriad of problems confronting the state head-on.

He said, “We are capable and confident in our ability to provide the leadership that they want.” “We are more than ready; we would leave no stone unturned in the quest of achieving this.”

Barrister Muftwang, who posited that Plateau State is in debt to the tune of N200 billion, said with this debt, it is glaring that it is not going to be a tea party if elected but promised that the party would harness resources on the ground to move the state out of the woods.
