Wigwes: Dangote, Akpabio, Fubara, Amaechi, shed tears at funeral

President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara could not hold back tears at the funeral Church service of the late billionaire bank owner, Dr Herbert Wigwe.

The dignitaries alongside other prominent Nigerians were present at the funeral of Dr Wigwe at Isiokpo community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Dr Wigwe died in a Helicopter crash with his , Chizoba Wigwe and son Chizi Wigwe in the United States of America.

Others in attendance at the service which held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo community, are Governor of Bayelsa state, Douye Diri, the immediate past Governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Seriake Dickson, Former Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu and King of Okochiri Kingdom, Ateke Tom, among others.

Late Wigwe, until his untimely death was the Chief Executive of Access Bank PLC.

His Chizi was 29 year old when died in the ill-fated helicopter on February 9, 2024.
