We negotiated to have sex in hotel, they took me to mosquitoes-infested bush – 24 year old lady recounts ordeal

A 24 year old lady in Ekpoma in Edo State has recounted her ordeal to the Police, saying that two fun-seeking men negotiated to have sex with her in a hotel, but they took her to a bush before having sexual intercourse with her.

The lady whose name was concealed, narrated to the Police that after taking turns to have a marathon sex with her, collected her infinix phone, power bank, phone charger and transferred the sum of N19,600.00 from her Opay account to one of their accounts.

She explained that the negotiation started in front of a popular Club in Ekpoma on October 27, and they agreed for a hotel after which she would be paid N25,000 that night, lamenting that she was rather taken to a mosquitoes-infested bush at Okopoji area of Ekpoma where they unleashed evil on her.

Reacting to her ordeal, the Police Public Relations Officer for Edo State Police Command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor said the Police responded and the two young men were arrested.

He said: “Immediately operatives of Ekpoma Division swung into action and arrested the two suspects. The Police revealed names of suspects as: Marvelous Imiefoh, ‘M’ age 20 and Uwaghele Samuel John ‘M’, age 24.

“The suspects made statement and confessed to the crime. Items recovered from them are: one Infinix phone and the sum of N19,600.00 belonging to the victim. They will soon be charged to Court.”

The Police said, the arrested suspects have confessed to the crime, “We didn’t kidnap her, actually we bargained, but we took the girl to a nearby bush, we slept with her there, collected her things and money.

“We were not having money for hotel room, in fact, our offense is sleeping with her in the bush instead of hotel. I don’t know what came over us”, the suspects maintained.
