High Court adjourns notorious terrorists case for final judgment

The Federal High Court in Minna has adjourned to the 13th of March, 2024 to deliver Judgment on the case of enforcement of the fundamental right of an alleged terrorist Mohammad Ahmadu whose house was demolished in Nikangbe area of Minna
Justice Aminu Garba of the Minna Federal High Court adjourned the Judgment after the lawyers to the applicant and the seven respondents adopted all their processes filed before the court.
Mohammad Ahmadu was alleged to have used the proceeds of his terrorism to build his house located in Nikangbe Community in Minna which was demolished some times in 2022.
He was arrested along with six others and some catchment of assorted weapons were said to have been recovered from his house which led to the demolition of the building by the then state government.
Since his arrest by a team of heavily armed security operatives his whereabout was known which informed his wife Mallama Innawuro approached the court through her lawyer Barrister Mohammed Tsado Mohammed.
The lawyer then filed a suit before the Federal High Court in Minna for the enforcement of the fundamental right of the plaintiff.
Join in the suit included the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the Department of State Service (DSS), the state Commissioner of Police, the state Director of the Department of State Service, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Justice Aminu Garba of the Federal High Court after listening to the arguments as contained in various applications and motions filed by the legal teams of the state led by the former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Niger State Nasara Dan Mallam and the lawyer to the plaintiff Mohammed Tsado Mohammed, that of the DSS, Abdulmalik Sani and the head of the legal unit of the police Thadeus Jude Akaeze, the case was adjourned to the 13th of March 2024 for Judgment.
Mohammadu Ahmadu was said to have been a kidnapper and whose activities was suspicious among the residents of Nikangbe community.
The then Commissioner for Internal Security in Niger State, Mr Emmanuel Umaru led a heavily armed Security Operatives to his house where assorted arms and weapons were said to have been recovered from his house.
