Fire guts popular shopping mall in Gwarimpa area of Abuja

Fire was reported to have gutted a popular shopping mall in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

The shopping mall which was identified as IC World Emporia, was seen in a video on wild fire without any intervention at the time it was filed by an X user (formerly Twitter).

The mall gutted fire in the early hours of Wednesday, according to the X user with a profile name as Mister_Mash.

Mister_Mash wrote, “4:13 am currently happening right now in Gwarimpa, IC World Emporia on fire.”

Several reactions began to trail the video with posters lashing out at the Federal Fire Service officials arriving the scene of fire incident late.

The Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo, confirmed the fire incident in a phone call with journalists and said, service men have arrived the scene.
