Former First Lady of Lagos State, Senator Fatimat Raji Rasaki on Monday expressed her confidence in the appointment of Hon. Oyetunde Ojo as Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Senator Rasaki affirmed that the FHA would attain greater height under the new Managing Director.
While congratulating the new FHA MD, Rasaki said Nigerians were anticipating progress in the activities of the FHA in tandem with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President.
She said, “The new helmsman, is purposeful and well equipped for the job. As a former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Ojo is coming with over a decade of work experience in the housing and hospitality industries.
“This is not rocket science, Hon. Ojo has been in the system and with huge exposure in the industry. He is an alumnus of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government as well as the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Housing Finance.”
She urged Nigerians to trust Mr. President’s decisions on major national issues, saying the nation would in no distant time start to witness improvements with the appointment of credible individuals at all levels.
On the appointment of Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, Sen. Raji Rasaki pointed out that, “Nigerians want an FHA Managing Director, whose actions will inspire governments to dream more, do more and achieve more in the housing deficit challenge facing the country.
“We want a MD who has the commitment and passion to truly serve Nigerians devoid of ethnicity, political and religion affiliations and place their wishes above any interest.”
