Dino Melaye: Nobody in Kogi would have voted a ‘disgusted governorship candidate’ – Onokpasa

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, Attorney Jesutega Onokpasa said, he got repulsed and disgusted when he visited Senator Dino Melaye’s residence in Abuja.
Speaking on Channels Television on Thursday, the APC Chieftain said, Melaye who contested governorship of Kogi State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just concluded elections sincerely believed that he will not win.
“Senator Melaye never had any genuine expectations of winning the Governorship election.”
Senator Melaye stayed in his house and didn’t even bother to cast a vote for himself.
He lampooned the former Senator who represented Kogi West Senatorial District for disrespecting Nigeria judiciary through insults and aspersions.
Onokpasa added: Dino Melaye I would say that Senator Melaye, I do not think he ever believed from the get-go that he had any electoral chance, any hope of.becoming governor of Kogi State.
“He wanted to make money. He didn’t pay his agents.”
