BREAKING: Supreme Court upholds Abdullahi Sule as winner of Nasarawa governorship election

Supreme Court on Friday upheld the election of Abdullahi Sule as the duly elected governor of Nasarawa State.

The case which came up on Friday alongside others, was decided by the panel of Justices, saying that the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Hon. David Ombugadu lacked merit in his case and could not prove his evidence sufficient enough to upturn the decision of the Court of Appeal.

The Governorship election held on March 18, 2023 which the Independent National Electoral Commission declared the incumbent governor winner of the election.

Abdullahi contested for a second term of office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC
