BREAKING: Human Rights abuse: Muri Ajaka defeats Bello as Court tells governor to pay N500 million

The Justice Inyang Ekwo-led Federal High Court on Thursday delivered a judgement asking Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello to pay the sum of N500 million to the Social Democratic Party, SDP Governorship candidate for abuse of his fundamental human rights.
Ekwo in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/952/2923 ordered Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello to pay Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka established that Ajaka’s human rights were abused by the State governor, hence, the penalty.
Also, the Court ordered Governor Yahaha Bello to tender public apology to Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka and same must be published/aired in print and electronic media.
It is recalled that Yahaya Bello led fully armed thugs to attack the SDP Governorship candidate, Muritala Ajaka while he was on his way from a campaign rally from Koton Karfe to Lokoja.
Ajaka escaped unhurt as the armoured bullet proof mercedes Benz saved his life, but some vehicles on his entourage were burnt and vandalised by hoodlums.
