BREAKING: Akeredolu returns after 3-month medical trip abroad

Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has return to the country on Thursday after spending three-month medical trip to Germany.
He was said to have arrived his Ibadan residence to rest before proceeding to Ondo State.
The governor’s health was degenerating at the time he left for medical treatment, thus raising concerns at the government quarters especially among his State Executive Council.
It was learnt late Thursday that members of the State Executive Council of Ondo State have been asked to meet the governor in his Ibadan residence on Friday in solidarity.
The Deputy governor of the State who has been acting in the absence of Akeredolu is expected to brief the governor as well as members of his cabinet.
Akeredolu may spend more weeks in Ibadan before his final resumption.
It is recalled that Ondo State House of Assembly approved a medical leave for him before he travelled out.
A viral picture of the Governor inside the airplane he boarded has surfaced online.
A top government source confirmed to vanguard that the governor has arrived the country and would meet with his EXCO members on Friday in lbadan.
According to the source, “Yes I can confirm to you that the Eagle has landed and his executive members are meeting with him on Friday at his residence in lbadan.
“The governor would received briefing from them led by his Deputy, Lucky Ayedatiwa.
“He would be staying for some time in lbadan before resuming fully for work.
“The governor would write to the state House of Assembly before resuming from duties.”
