BREAKING: Kogi High Court sacks Ohinoyi of Ebiraland

Kogi State High Court presided by Justice Salisu Umar has sacked the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammed Tijani Anaje at Monday’s sitting in Lokoja.

The Royal Majesty was removed from office by the State High Court 2.

The Judge further ordered that the former Ohinoyi should stop parading himself as the first class traditional ruler of Ebiraland.
Though the court is yet to make available details of the judgement, our correspondent gathered that the case pertain to case number HCO/05C/2024, filed by Dr. Barnabas Adeku Ojiah and two others against the Governor of Kogi State.
The enshrine of His Royal Majesty, Ahmed Muhammedmas Ohinoyi became a subject of litigation after he was coronation as Ohinoyi of Ebiraland by the former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
