Israeli’s Mossad: Most deadliest, feared in the world

The Mossad also spelled Mosad, in full Mossad Merkazi le-Modiin ule-Tafkidim Meyuhadim, (Hebrew: “Central Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations”), one of the three major intelligence organizations of Israel, along with Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (internal security).

The Mossad is concerned with foreign intelligence gathering, intelligence analysis, and covert operations.

Formally established in December 1949 as the Institute for Co-ordination, the Mossad was the successor to the intelligence arm of the Haganah (the Jewish military force in Palestine during the British mandate period).
Reuven Shiloah, who had been involved in special operations and secret diplomacy during the pre-state period, served as the first director. Bureaucratic conflicts hampered the new agency in its early days; it took more than a year for the agency to become operational, and it suffered an early embarrassment in 1951 when an Israeli spy ring in Baghdad was exposed and intelligence officers were arrested.
Shiloah retired in 1952 and was replaced by Isser Harel, who had previously served as the head of Shin Bet. Harel was credited with building the Mossad into a highly professional organization capable of conducting operations around the world during his 11-year tenure (1952–63). One high-profile success, the capture in 1960 of former Nazi Adolf Eichmann in Argentina by a Mossad team and his exfiltration to Israel to stand trial for war crimes, demonstrated the agency’s proficiency and confidence in high-risk operations.
The Mossad maintains numerous Israeli secret agents in Arab and other nations. The most famous of these was Eli Cohen, an Egyptian-born Jew who infiltrated the highest ranks of the Syrian government by posing as a Syrian businessman before being discovered and executed in 1965.
The Mossad and its operatives have carried out very deadly undercover operations against enemies of Israel and former Nazi war criminals living abroad. Mossad agents tracked down and assassinated the Arab guerrilla leaders responsible for the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, and the Mossad has also been linked with several assassinations of Palestinian leaders in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Mossad has been a part of some of the most daring undercover operations in the world. This special operation and foreign intelligence agency launched operation ‘Wrath of God’ to track down and kill all the PLO activists responsible for hostage and killing of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972.
The following is a part of the lists of recognized and non-recognized operations carried out by Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, sorted in chronological order.

Nigerian Coast Guard: Citizens warned against extortion as passage of bill is being awaited

The Provisionary Committee of the proposed Nigerian Coast Guard, PC-NCG has warned the general public against extortion in guise of recruitment or enrolment as anyone parading himself as promoter of the Nigerian Coast Guard other than Captain Noah Ichaba is an impostor and a dupe.

In a statement made available to CAPITAL POST on Wednesday, said, this information has become necessary in view of a publication in Vanguard Online of 8thMarch 2025, titled “Coordinator of provisional Nigerian Coast Guard appeals to NASS for bill passage”.

Captain Ichaba urged the public to disregard the information as it is only the PC-NCG that has the right to issue a statement updating Nigerians as the bill awaiting legislative attention would soon be passed into law by the 10th National Assembly.
Part of the statement said: “We respectfully invite the attention of patriotic, impartial and ready to act relevant authorities, misled groups, authentic stakeholders and members of the general public, to note that, the stories regarding the purported acceptance of some Registered Private Maritime Security Groups into the Nigerian Coast Guard, were nothing, but, a brazen criminal impersonation, and a contemptuous cover-up and an act meant to ridicule law enforcement agents and a provocative invitation to acrimonious conflicts.
“Some other persons are ingloriously parading themselves making weird claims without substance, but with the motive to hoodwink the intelligence of members of the general public and the desperate job seekers, whom they are ready to “dagbo”, in the name of recruitment into a non-existing job or organization, and a non-certification training of no value.
“This fraudulent practice, which they have carried out over the years, and which has led to the death of many of their victims or that has fostered disaffection and separation in some families, would not be encouraged to continue with use of the provisional operation platform of the Nigerian Coast Guard.
“While the Facilitation Team of the proposed Nigerian Coast Guard is genuinely concerned with national interest and the future of the unborn Nigerians, these immediate economic package seekers have prided themselves in hot campaign of calumny against PC-NCG.
“This is an evidence that they are persons suffering from last-card hallucination and stressful financial disorder.
“Due to that, they want to make the money and ego by hook or crook. As a result, those they succeed in deceiving becomes their caged victims, with a mirage expectation.
“Their countless but cruel illegalities tumble over one another. The extent of cajoling Registered Private Maritime Security Outfits into a never to work marriage of deception shows the degree of disregard for boundaries. Enough of that imposturous and subversive stance. Enough of mediocrity and underhandedness.
“Enough of the unprovable claim and utter falsehood. These realities have been brought to the fore to evoke appropriate action by relevant authorities, stakeholders, private maritime security practitioners and members of the public, as these are not synonymous with the ideals of selflessly and patriotically pursuing a legitimate cause of facilitating the legal existence of the proposed Nigerian Coast Guard.
“Immediate AIP on appropriate burdens be followed. No two ways about it.
“These realities have been brought to the fore to evoke appropriate action as his sordid actions were not synonymous with the ideals of selflessly and patriotically pursuing a legitimate cause.
“He has succeeded in exposing himself for immediate AIP on criminal charges. No two ways about it.”
