Igboho hints on when he’ll be back home to continue agitation

The embattled Yoruba agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, alias Igboho on Sunday hinted that he would be back home any time soon.

He assured his supporters and well wishers of his commitment to the Yoruba Nation struggle, saying that he will continue when he comes back.

He spoke with the leader of the Ilana Omo Oodua, Prof Banji Akintoye and his deputy, Prof Wale Adeniran on Sunday.

The highly elated Igboho appreciated his supporters in Nigeria and across the world for standing with him during his travails while at the Republic of Benin prison.

Debunking rumours of his ill-health making the rounds, Igboho maintained that he is healthy, asking his supporters to discard the rumour.

He revealed that he is currently enjoying maximum freedom courtesy of the President of Benin Republic, Patrice Athanase Talon.

He insisted that he was never sick for a day while in detention, noting that the sickness claim was fake news.

Igboho,who spoke in Yoruba, thanked those who stood by him during his trying period, especially, notable Yoruba leaders, legal counsel and his wife as well as family members.

“I want to thank everyone, I want everyone to be calm. I won’t betray you all. This is me here. I’m fine, hale and healthy.

“Yoruba struggle will remain, and it will be stronger. Yorubas are suffering and smiling. They are killing, kidnapping and doing all sort in Yorubaland and we are not talking.

“I’m coming back home soon. I’m a true son of the soil. One cannot be scared of his father’s home. Nothing will happen and no one will be scared of anyone.
