‘I am not first, will not be last to be second wife’, Actress Mercy Aigbe replies critics

Popular Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe has come under heavy criticism for being second wife to filmmaker, Adeoti Kazim.

The criticism followed the Actress’s announcement sometime in January, 2022 that she was getting married to the popular Yoruba film marketer.

Since the announcement, Actress Aigbe who is a divorcee for five years now has been receiving different reactions for getting married to the Yoruba movie marketer and film-maker, Adeoti Kazim. com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"> js">

In an interview with Media Room Hub, the couple revealed that their bond grew together from business relationship.

Aigbe also warned critics for coming up with different narratives about her marriage.

She said: “Please, I just want to tell Nigerians that I’m not the first person to be a second wife.

“It is my choice, and I’m happy with it. Let everybody just leave me to enjoy my marriage. If you can be happy for me, be happy for me. If you cannot be happy, you can get busy.

“On a more serious note, it is my choice. I’m happy so just leave me to enjoy my marriage, please. He (Kazim) brought so much joy, peace and happiness to my life. I tell him all the time that he is a good man. So when he popped the question, I decided to give it a try that this is the last bus stop. I’m glad it is a decision I took.

“He has been amazing, and supportive. I didn’t marry him because of his money. He gives me peace, and joy.”

Recall that the Actress was married to Gentry and divorced him in 2017, their union produced a son, Juwon.

She later married the film maker, Adeoti Kazim who she confirmed to be her ex-husband’s friend.
