Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani in a tweet on Tuesday said some textile industries in Nigeria should be revived and funded by the Federal Government.
According to him, demands for protective face masks are high, hence, there could be mass produced locally.
His tweet reads:
The former lawmaker and Human Rights activist said government should use the opportunity offered by the coronavirus pandemic to wake local industries to produce protective kits instead of importing those things.
