CBN extends naira notes swap
The Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the naira swap deadline to 10th February 2023 due to pressure from the public.
Before next month’s deadline it was expected that the old naira notes would have been swapped with the new ones.

In a press statement by the Apex bank on Sunday, Godwin Emefiele said the 10 days extension was at the instance of the Federal Government.
He said the Central Bank has so far collected the sum of N1.9 trillion and left with 900 billion to achieve effective implementation of policy.
