Breaking: Wike supervises demolition of two hotels for disobeying lockdown order (Photos)

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Sunday peesonally supervised the demolition of hotels in the state for flouting government directive on the closure of hotels in the State.

The hotels – Prudent Hotel, Alode, Eleme and Etemeteh Hotel, Onne violated the state rules leaving the governor with no choice than to personally supervise the demolition.

The deed has been done. Day Four is the most eventful of the Port Harcourt lockdown, even though the demolished hotel is outside Port Harcourt, outside the area covered by the lockdown.

CAPITAL POST earlier reports that the State Commissioner for information and Communications in a statement on Saturday alledged violation of lockdown order by the affected hotels.
