BREAKING: Wike orders removal of PDP flags from Rivers government house

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike on Thursday ordered the removal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flags from government house.

According source close to the government house, Wike specifically instructed the Chief Security Officer to take down all PDP flags from the building.

The reason for instructing the removal was still sketchy as at the press time, but, CAPITAL POST recalled that the governor has been at loggerhead with his since he lost the presidential primary election to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

CAPITAL POST earlier report that governor Wike reeled conditions precedent to working for PDP where he demanded for resignation of the National Chairman, Dr. Iorchia Ayu, among other demands to be met.

There is no official statement from Rivers State State government house yet, but Wike has been lately hobnobbing with the ruling APC and had a close meeting with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.
