Breaking: Three abducted Polytechnic students rescued in Plateau

In less than 24 hours after three Plateau State Polytechnic students were abducted from the main campus at Heipang on Wednesday night, operatives of the Nigeria Police have rescued them unhurt.

The spokesperson for Plateau State Police Command, ASP Ubah Gabriel Ogaba explained that Police officers were deployed to various locations of the State and located the abductees.

“The team of Police and STF deployed to rescue the victims kidnapped yesterday at Ban Village behind the Plateau State Polytechnic have rescued them today 13/1/2022 at about 1430hrs unhurt and are presently with the Police,” he said in a statement.

He said though the victims have been rescued, the Police are on the trail of kidnappers to get them arrested.

CAPITAL POST earlier reported that three students, a male and two females were on Wednesday night abducted from the Polytechnic campus in Plateau.
