Reports reaching CAPITAL POST said, a middle aged man who claimed to be a staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, has been arrested while stealing Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS Machines at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s office in Lere Local Government Council of Kaduna State.

Lere is part of zone 1 in Kaduna where last Saturday’s governorship election and State House of Assembly election was locked in controversy as the ruling All Prpgresdives Congress, APC claimed to have scored 45,823 votes.

CAPITAL POST exclusively reports that the vigilant Police personnel attached to INEC office arrested him at about 7.30pm on Wednesday after he had successfully made into the office and took BVAS.

He was immediately taken to the Police Station Lere with pads and other sensitive materials found on him for interrogation.

Effort to speak with the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer was not successful as his line didn’t connect at the time of filing the report.
