Allow us fix Nigeria’s non-funtional refineries – Female engineers to Tinubu

The Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) has pleaded with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to allow female engineers fix the country’s non-functional refineries.

The newly-elected APWEN chairperson, Lagos chapter, Mrs Atinuke Owolabi, made the plea on Saturday, August 19. adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Her appeal came after the federal government’s pledged to revamp PortHarcourt, Warri and Kaduna refineries.

She assured the president that female engineers spread across the various arms of the profession could fix the moribund refineries within a year.

“All women engineers are ready to come together and see how we can proffer solutions, ensure we revamp these refineries”, she announced.
