2023: Wadada, Adogi, thousand others decamp, picks NNPP tickets – State Chairman

As 2023 election activities commenced in earnest, New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has set up its machineries in winning elections in Nasarawa state.

This was disclosed by the State Chairman of NNPP, Hon. Sidi Mohammed Bako in an interview with our correspondent in his office, Lafia.

He told our correspondent that the party has received thousands of aggrieved and other high ranking politicians across political lines.

The NNPP, chairman, also pointed out that they have conducted state and house of representatives assemblies election free and fear primary elections and as such they wasn’t any petitions from all the aspirants during and after the elections process.

“Let me assure you that we will apply same method in our Senatorial and Governorship Primaries on June, 5, 2022, in the State.

He affirmed the decamp of former APC, Governorship aspirants, Hon. Aliyu Wadada, many more political mathematicians and declined knowledge on the the preparation of decamping of Senator Godiya Akwashiki who suffered defeat in the hands of retired Secretary of Nigeria Judiciary Council.

“I’m not aware that Senator Akwashiki will decamp to our party, but if he made up his mind to join us, he is welcome.

“But I cannot welcome rumours untill he made his choice to come to NNPP in Nasarawa state as we are ready to embrace all those willing to be members of this party.

He further explained that as a new party they welcome whoever wanted to have access to the party for progress and unity of all.

“In our party we have an enabling playing ground. We don’t believe in imposition of any candidate against the wish of people,” If you have your people you have them, if you don’t have you don’t have. He added.

“Formerly, we are being called third force, but now, I’m telling you we passed the third force in politics. If the right thing is done, people will want to identify themselves with the party.

He called on people of the state to come out in their numbers to vote for NNPP, in the forthcoming general election in 2023, both at the national and states level.
