The youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that it is carrying out registration of youth support groups in all parts of the country to ensure that its party flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the 2023 presidential election.
The National Youth Leader of APC, Dayo Israel disclosed this while inaugurating the national task force for registration and revalidation of youth-led and student focused support groups at the Buhari house in Abuja.
According to him, the taskforce will coordinate the registration and revalidation of APC youth support groups ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Israel further emphasised that the party will ensure inclusiveness even to the grassroots to give commensurate support to Tinubu in the elections.
“We are all in the mood for Victory as we are going to the 2023 polls from the standpoint of a winner. We are sure that with the support of the over 120 million Nigerian youth and students in addition to other votes that comes from other angle, the traders, bankers, educators, politicians and so on, the victory is certain for our Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and every other flag bearers representing our party at different levels.
“I want the young men and women in far away grassroots level to have the same voice, structure and give the same level of support as those who are in Abuja.
“To ensure our success and ensure a proper structure for all the youth and students support groups is put in place, I have assembled these respected voices and party loyalists as members of APC Youth Wing National Special Task Force on Revalidation and Registration of APC Youth led and Youth focused support groups.
“The revalidation of the affiliated youth/student support groups will be opened for a period of one
month starting from Friday 1st of July through 31st of July would also enable effective coordination, disciplined harmonization of activities in alignment with the party’s goals, aid provision and accountability, as well as efficient management and enhanced operations.
“To streamline the submission process and enable easy access, sorting, and verification, interested groups would be able to register digitally and submit all relevant documents and information required for the revalidation exercise from the comfort of their homes at homes
at www.youngprogessives.ng/supportgroups.
“This way, groups across the country can participate in
the process virtually, thus avoiding the additional burden or cost of facilitating the logistics of
physical movement of personnel and sensitive data”.
