EFCC operatives arrest Yahoo Yahoo Academy proprietor, 16 trainees

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested the owner of Yahoo Yahoo Academy in Abuja.
The operatives in a sting operation also arrested 16 trainees of the Academy and were paraded before journalists.
The owner of the Academy, Mr Afolabi Samad who is 24 years old has young boys who are ages 18 and 27 years enrolled in the Academy.
They were all arrested at their hideout located in Peace Court Estate, Lokogoma, area of Abuja.
Upon interrogation, the proprietor of the Yahoo Yahoo training Centre was said to have rented the 3-bedroom flat for N3 million where boys are registered for the training of cyber fraud.
As at the time of their arrest, it wasn’t known how much each trainee pays for the training.
The antigraft agents recovered laptops, phones, charms and two vehicles: a Lexus RX350 and Toyota Highlander.
Speaking through a statement by the EFCC’s Spokesman, Mr Wilson Uwajeran, the anti-graft agency said, the suspect would be charged to Court immediately after conclusion of investigation.
