Plateau APC Chieftain debunks defection rumours, says viral video is handiwork of mischief makers

The immediate past Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Alhaji Ustaz Ibrahim, has debunked the story of his decamping to the Peoples Democratic Party in viral video in the State as handiwork of mischief makers.

Alhaji Ibrahim who reacted to the news that himself and a former APC Chairman in the State, including two former speakers with others met in Barkin Ladi LGA of the state and agreed to decamp said it was false and just a figment of mischief makers.

Making his position known in a press release which he personally signed, he warned those behind the purported decamping to desist from such falsehood of him will be forced to take up the matter legally.

He said, “Without mincing words, I wish to distance myself from the purported decamping which, as far as I am concerned is the work of mischief merchants.

“I also wish to call on the state APC and the faithful government, my ardent supporters, friends and well wishers to discontinuance the said news item because it is a black lie in its entirety”

Alhaji Ustaz added that for the avoidance of doubt, “I was not in Barkin Ladi on the day the so-call meeting was held and in addition; no one had dared to contact me or sold the blackmailing Idea to me to warrant a decamping”

He then warned those behind the story to desist from such acts of blackmail or be prepared to face the consequences of thier actions.
