Over 200 residents killed by bandits buried amid tears, lamentations

The remains of those killed by the rampaging bandits in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas in Zamfara State have been found from the bushes and buried.
The burial elicited wailing and lamentations from the relatives of those killed who are about 200 in number.
Barayar Zaki, Wanu, Rafin Gero, Laho, Lallaho, Kurfar Danya, Dutsin Dan Ajiya, Tungar Geza, Kewaye, and Tungar Na More are some of the communities that came under attack.
In the heat of attack, some residents who were caught off guard on their farms by bandits were gunned down.
Source said, about 140 vigilante members were among those killed who’s bodies were recovered from the bushes and buried on Friday in Kurfad Danye alone.
