Armed robber mistakenly kill own colleague amid gun duel with Amotekun operatives in Ondo

The local vigilante group otherwise known as Amotekun intercepted highway armed robbers while robbing passengers, rescued 17 and arrested one in Ondo.
The passengers were travelling from Lagos to Abuja when they came under attack by the robbers in Ifira-Akoko axis of Akoko South East Local Government Area of the State.
The armed robbers who were three in number were engaged by the Amotekun and being chased into the bush.
The Commander of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, Mr. Akogun Adetunji Adeleye explained that the robbers upon sighting the operatives engaged them in gun shoot out and one of the robber was killed by his own colleagues.
The Commander revealed the name of the arrested armed robber as Musa Jamiu, a young Fulan, while 17 passengers were rescued and were immediately offered first aid in order to recover from the trauma.
