The affected communities have been manned by the joint security taskforce all these while, but have just vacated the Allawa and Bassa communities on Friday after the joint securiry taskforce came under heavy attack leading to the killing of five soldiers and an NSCDC officer, CAPITAL POST has learnt.

Bandits reportedly operated for hours, razed the operational vehicles of the State joint taskforce and stole whatever their hand could lay in houses of runaway locals.
