Breaking: Imo State Assembly’s fire out break not true

Inquiries revealed that the alledged fire outbreak at the Imo State House of Assembly is not true.

A video of fire outbreak has been circulating purporting it to be the fire outbreak at Imo State House of Assembly on Sunday night at 10pm, but checks by CAPITAL POST reveals that Imo State House of Assembly is intact and the video which has gone viral might be one of those fake news.

The news was further confirmed fake by the Police Public Relations Officer of Imo State Police Command, Orlando Ikeokwu.

Orlando urged the Public and well meaning Nigerians to disregard the viral video, saying, “Disregard please.”

Meanwhile, on Sunday, governors of Southeast States held a closed-door meeting at the government House, Enugu which was chaired by Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State.

The meeting was meant to discuss and address the challenges of insecurity in the zone.
