Breaking: Ex-Unilag VC, Ibidapo Obe dies of coronavirus at 71

The former Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Oyewusi Ibidapo- Obe is dead.
He died at the age of 71
Sources close for the late educationist confirmed to CAPITAL POST that he died as a result of COVID-19 complications.
The academic community was thrown into mourning immediately the news of his demise went on air as the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, UNILAG branch, Dr Dele Ashiru, confirmed the Ibidapo-Obe’s death.
Lagos State government was yet to issue an official statement probably as a result of late night.
