Anyigba community commends Agriculture Minister, Sabo Nanono over rural development
Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, Alhaji Sabo Nanono has been commended by Anyigba community in Lokoja for opening up some rural roads in the town.
Anyigba is a town in Dekina Local Government Council in Kogi East Senatorial District.
Chairman, Anyigba community, Lokoja branch, Mr Danladi Francis Faruna dropped this commendation during the award confered on notable citizens of Anyigba across the country.
Mr Danladi Faruna says the current Minister of Agriculture meant well for grading and tarring a major road linking through the heart of the town, Agudoko-Anyigba to Abejukolo road in the same area.
He commended the Minister and the facilitators for a job well done, saying this is also in addition to ongoing expansion of Anyigba river at ogane-aji to a mini dam to promote agriculture.
The Chairman pleaded with the Minister to provide other agricultural loan for small scale businesses and farmers to ameliorate the sufferings of the rural farmers.
He says the new road will assist the farmers in the area to move their farm products to and from the market for commercial purposes.
